Seeking proposals from qualified flooring contractors to furnish labor, materials, and installation for flooring projects at family and multi-family properties. Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the installation. Work includes Carpet/Carpet tile/Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) depending on the property location. Tasks may include removal and disposal of existing flooring (if applicable), supply and installation of flooring materials, installation of trims, transitions, and accessories, final cleanup and disposal of debris, warranty and post-installation support. Contractors must demonstrate relevant commercial/residential project experience and ability to meet project schedule requirements, with timely response and completion critical. Must provide price per square foot broken down for carpet/pad, tear out and removal for carpet, cove base, VCT install, and VCT tear out. Must specify product information, warranties, workmanship warranty terms, insurance, liability, workers’ compensation, and other required coverage. Contractors must be licensed and meet all insurance requirements. Contracts are subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions and payment of HUD-determined wage rates.
