Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario Annual and Semi-Annual Inspections of Generators. GENERAL Question Deadline 02/05/2026 at 12:00 PM ET The contractor shall comply with the requirements of the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario's: . General Terms and Conditions (which form part of all specifications) and all subsequent documents referred to therein; . Proposal form; and . this Scope of Work and Specification. INTENT It is the intent of the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) to obtain the services of a qualified and competent generator contractor acceptable to CDSBEO, to perform annual, semi-annual and quinquennial inspections and testing of generators as per CSA 282-15. This contract does not create an exclusive right for the contractor to perform repair work which may be required. The Board reserves the right to have any part of the work done by others. SCOPE OF WORK All inspections shall be performed on site by a technician specializing in all phases of servicing generators. The successful contractor shall provide a written report of the condition of the equipment at each site. The successful contractor shall use the Board's inspection forms as per Appendices C, D, & E and note all deficiencies. The successful contractor shall provide all material, labour and equipment necessary for the execution of the work set out or referred to herein. All work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable codes, standards and regulations including but not limited to: CDSBEO Standards Ontario Building Code Ontario Fire Code Ontario Electrical Safety Code including Bulletins CSA282-15 any relevant NFPA standards any Manufacturers' Recommendations current construction trade practices additional requirements outlined in these specifications. In general, the work shall consist of the annual, semi-annual and quinquennial inspections of generators as per Appendices C and D and to complete repairs as required. This contract will be for a period of three (3) years with a provision for an option to extend the contract for an additional three - one-year extensions (2029, 2030, 2031), totaling six years. The original 3-year contract will end on December 31, 2028, with the prices quoted shall remain firm for the said period. Critical hazards shall be communicated immediately by the service technician to the regional Plant & Maintenance Supervisor. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
