Renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Manchester, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a 13,488-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; and municipal facility.

Project consists of a new 13,488 square foot, 2-story building addition onto the existing courthouse building, with minor renovations needed to the existing courthouse. Bids will be received for the general contract (all trades). Bid security must be submitted with each Bid in the stipulated form and in the amount identified in the Instructions to Bidders. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Prospective prime Bidders are requested to attend a prebid meeting and a site walkthrough meeting. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Work is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $200 per calendar day for failing to meet the Final Completion date calculated from 180 calendar days from Substantial Completion of the final phase of the project.
