SBMWD is prequalifying General Engineering Class "A" Contractors for the bidding of the Reservoir Liner Project Full Interior Waterproofing System Lytle Creek 1 Project. The primary objective of this project is to rehabilitate the existing concrete reservoir, which plays a critical role in the region's water storage. The reservoir was originally constructed in the 1950s measuring approximately 185 feet in length, 185 feet in width, and 15 feet in height. The reservoir has a storage capacity of 3.4 million gallons per day. The project includes but is not limited to, design, labor, equipment materials, and incidentals required to clean interior concrete surfac4es of the reservoir, perform surface preparation work, and provide and install an NSF-approved waterproofing system. Each Contractor shall show that he/she has completed three (3) similar Design/Build projects in the last five (5) years and provide the minimum experience requested in the RFQ posted. Prequalified contractors will be invited to participate in an on-site walkthrough of the reservoir, anticipated to occur in March 2026. The project is currently anticipated to begin early 2026.
