Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The project consists of replacing a deteriorated steel road crossing pipe with a large diameter HDPE pipe, installing various stone gravity retaining walls, re-grading the embankment, and performing restoration. Bids must be made on the official Bid Forms and accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond, payable to the Village of Cayuga Heights, in the amount equal to 5% of the Base Bid. All such bid securities will be returned no later than the forty-sixth day after the Bid opening. Amendments can only be accomplished by means of Addenda issued by the Engineer. Written questions should be addressed to David Herrick, P.E. and copied to Brent Cross. Questions must be received by 5:00 PM on February 5, 2026. Questions received after the deadline will not be answered. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Village.
