The City is inviting qualified firms to submit proposals for On-Call Electrical Services, which includes electrical repair, maintenance, and installation services at City facilities. The scope of services will involve a range of scheduled and emergency electrical tasks, generally performed during normal business hours. Proposers must agree to furnish all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services for the complete execution of all work outlined in the RFP. Proposals must cover the entire scope of work defined in the RFP document. Work will not commence until a contract is executed and a City Purchase Order is received. Instructions to bidders include that proposals must not be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the closing date, and the awarded proposer must sign the contract within ten days of receipt. Proposers must also submit, or provide upon request, any additional information required by the City, and agree to execute the contract in the form presented. Electronic bid submission is required, and insurance is a general requirement.
