The project requires a contractor to provide equipment, electric motor, and sewage pump service support for the Water & Sewer Utility Department. Work includes troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, or replacement of equipment, electric motors, and/or sewage pumps on a task order basis. Tasks may involve dismantling, inspection, steam cleaning and oven drying of parts, testing and maintenance of motor windings and stators, replacement of seals, bearings, and shaft sleeves, inspection and machining of pump components, assembly and testing, and other related miscellaneous items. The contractor must supply all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for the project. Bidders must submit bids electronically; no physical bids will be accepted. Bidders bear responsibility for timely submission of bid packages. Bidders must comply with all relevant New Jersey State Statutes and provide required affirmative action documentation, a statement of ownership, business registration, listing of subcontractors, guarantee, and surety company certificate, as stated in the specifications and bid forms. The Town reserves the right to consider bids for sixty days, to waive informalities, accept bids as most favorable, make awards per item or as a whole, and reject any or all proposals.
