Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 61,300-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project scope includes renovation of 19 single and 6 group toilet rooms to improve accessibility and replacement of the existing domestic water piping through the building. The existing building is one-story building with 61, 300 GSF. Work includes selective demolition to prepare for new construction. New construction will provide upgraded doors, hardware, flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, and toilet partitions. MEP scope includes replacement of plumbing fixtures in toilet rooms, two boilers, one chiller, and a new emergency generator. Additional improvements include new casework in the Art room and library finishes. Project involves renovation of an existing 60,000 sf +/- elementary school. Project includes, but is not limited to, site work, concrete, masonry, steel, roofing, metal studs, drywall, glazing, doors/frames/hardware, acoustical ceilings, casework, specialties, painting, flooring, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, security, and fire protection. This project includes some prepurchased equipment by owner. This is a State of Delaware prevailing wage rate project.
