Project involves one or more of the following tasks at various Wilmington Parking Authority Garages: partial and full depth concrete repairs; post tensioning repairs; overhead and vertical concrete repairs; installation of waterproofing membrane; expansion joint repairs; façade repairs; sealing of cracks and construction joints; epoxy injection of cracks; tee joint sealant replacement; replacement of drains and piping; and other miscellaneous repairs. Only General Contractors who have demonstrated past experience on parking garage rehabilitation projects of a total of $1,500,000 or greater in the last five years may submit bids. A minimum of five project references, each with a contract value of $300,000 or more, is required. All Bidders must submit a fully completed "Contractor's Qualification Statement and Questionnaire" as included in the Project Manual with their bids to verify qualifications. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for the purpose of establishing the listing of contractors and to answer questions. Attendance is a prerequisite for bidding. Sealed bids should be addressed as specified, and the outer envelope should clearly indicate the contract information. Bid Documents are available in digital format upon written request with required company and contact details. Only written questions submitted by email by the stated deadline will be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract.
