Site work for a civil project in Danielsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids are requested for the construction of Sewerage System Improvements, consisting of Division I: installation of approximately 7,700 linear feet of 8" gravity sanitary sewer, and approximately 10,400 linear feet of 6" force main complete with all appurtenances; and Division II: installation of one sewage pump station including precast wet well, pumps, electrical, piping, site work and all appurtenances as well as replacement of pumps, piping control panel in an existing pump station. Construction time is 450 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 480 for final completion. Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractors License and must employ a state “Utility Manager” certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work. Bid security must be furnished as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Proof of qualifications to perform the Work must be submitted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States.
