Site work and paving for a road / highway in Findlay, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Contractor shall perform within the time stipulated, the Contract as herein defined of which this Agreement is a component part and everything required to be performed, and shall provide and furnish any and all of the labor, all materials together with all tools, expendable equipment and all utility and transportation services necessary to perform the Contract and complete in a workman like manner all the work covered by the Contract in connection with the Project identified as and in strict conformity with the Plans and Specifications including any and all Addenda on file in the office of the City Engineering Department. It is agreed that said labor, materials, tools, equipment and services shall be furnished and the Contract performed and completed under the direction and supervision and subject to the approval of the Findlay City Engineering Department. This project consists of nearly 21,515 (LF) of curb removal and replacement on various streets within the City of Findlay in Hancock County. Incidental items include necessary sidewalk or curb ramp replacement (approximately 19,169 SF), concrete drive replacement (approximately 2,028 SY), adjustment of manholes and catch basins, grading and seeding. Other minor work is described in the details for each segment of roadway. The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. City of Findlay Specifications and Standard Drawings shall also be adhered to where applicable and are available at the City of Findlay Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Findlay, OH 45840. Engineering Estimate: $ 1,125,718.67 (Base Bid) Prospective bidders may address inquiries to Brooke Weininger through Online. All inquiries must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm on January 30 , 2026 . Furnishing of necessary labor and materials for the 2026 Annual Street Resurfacing Program under two contracts: Contract A - Concrete and Contract B - Asphalt. Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express using the forms provided. Paper and fax copies will not be accepted. An electronic signature or digital ID along with applicable fees is required for bid submission. Each bid must include either a Bid Bond (Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit) for 10% of the bid amount or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for 100% of the bid amount. A Performance Bond for 100% of the contract price is required. All inquiries must be submitted through Bid Express by the specified date. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept or reject optional bids, and waive minor informalities or irregularities in the bids.
