Sealed proposals are requested for all work categories as described in the Project Manual for Allegan Elementary Final Construction Cleaning. Proposals must be addressed to the Project Manager and delivered to the specified Allegan Public Schools Administration Building address by the bid deadline. Proposals must be on the provided form, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with WORK CATEGORY NO. 40C, and must identify the project name, bidder's name, and address. All contractors must be bondable and include costs for furnishing a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Co-Obligee Performance Bond; the proposal form should also specify a cost deduction if bonds are not required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to The Christman Company in an amount not less than five percent of the base bid as bid security. All proposals must remain valid for sixty days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal that serves their best interest. All questions must be directed to the Construction Manager; no direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested.
