Site work and paving for a road / highway in Prairie View, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Construction of roadway widening including approximately 6,350 SY of 3-inch asphalt pavement with 8-inch subgrade and 10-inch black base, 4,590 SY asphalt overlay of existing asphalt pavement, 2,750 LF of roadside ditch regrade, and 170 LF of 24-inch storm sewer pipe and all appurtenances. Bidders must submit sealed bids, in duplicate, or electronically. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Project is at FM 362 north of Cameron Road, north of the City of Waller. 2. Access to the project site will be along FM 362. 3. The New Home Company on behalf of Waller County MUD 40 is the Owner. The Owner will make monthly payments to the Contractor in accordance with the Contract Documents. 4. Engineering design was completed by BGE, Inc. BGE will administer the construction phase services. All questions are to be directed to Engineer through online Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
