The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) on behalf of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System (Owner) and Prairie View A&M University are soliciting statements of qualifications for selection of a Design-Build (DB) firm for the On-campus Student Housing project (#05-3447), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications. The project consists of a four-level, on-campus student housing facility providing approximately 950 beds. Approximately 74% of the units are semi-suite doubles, with the remaining 26% comprised of semi-suite singles and Resident Assistant suites. The facility includes a ground-level lobby and entry area with generous seating, along with shared amenities such as community and game rooms, multipurpose rooms, a computer lab, print centers, community kitchens, laundry rooms, and a wellness center. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step of a two-step selection process for selecting a DesignBuild firm. The RFQ provides the information necessary to prepare and submit Qualifications for consideration by the Owner. The Owner may select up to five (5) of the top ranked Qualifications respondents to respond to a Request for Proposals.
