Site work, paving and new construction of a transportation facility in Ottumwa, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility.
The improvements require constructing the T-hangar (4 stalls in base bid, 2 stalls in alternate bid), pavement reconstruction in front and around the building, and earthwork as required. There is some electrical work, seeding and mulching, and other accompanying work. Bidders may be required to comply with wage and labor provisions in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor, and the project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, to meet the established DBE goal. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
