Scope of work: A. Contractor/ Company shall produce approximately 3000 cubic yards of 5/8” Chips Class B, and 2000 cubic yards of 3/8” Washed Chips Class A Idaho Spec. B. Contractor/ Company shall supply weight scales & weight slips per each load at no extra charge. Weigh slips shall be given to Gem County Road Department personnel as the chips are delivered with each load. C. Contractor/ Company shall provide proper testing every 500 yards and provide all results of all testing prior to scheduling pickup. D. Contractor/ Company shall give Gem County Road Department the conversion factor for the washed chips (Tons to Yards) for each load. Each Bidder is required to provide a Bid Surety in the amount of 5% of their bid. Failure to include the bond or check made payable to Gem County will result in rejection of the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of the bid. The Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds may be in the form of a cashier’s check, irrevocable line of credit, or a bond made out to Gem County. Also, evidence shall be presented that the successful bidder has liability insurance. Gem County reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and without re-advertising to let a contract for the entire, or any part of, the proposed project to any persons at the terms which, in its judgment, are the most advantageous for the County.
