PLAN FILE 198-5-158 OFF. NOTICE NO. 28-2026 Question Deadline 02/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract document shall be submitted to the Commissioner in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. The Contractor shall contact Mr. Cameron Potter at (414) 286-3276 Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Sanitary Bypass Pump Rehabilitation project located at various locations. All work must be completed by July 31, 2026, within a continuous 45-day period. The project has a liquidated damages clause of $1000 per day. There is a requirement that 40% of all hours worked are by city residents, with a portion from specified zip codes, and a 10% SBE participation. One laborer apprentice is required with specific residency requirements for apprentice hours if the contract is over $500,000. Bidders must submit a 10% bid security with their bid. Incomplete or inaccurate SBE compliance plans will render a bid unresponsive. Bids may be submitted electronically via Bid Express or by email and must include all required forms and documents. Contractors are required to participate in training and reporting through the City's B2GNow and Labor Compliance Reporting software systems upon contract award. All other provisions of the CITY OF MILWAUKEE GENERAL OFFICIAL NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS apply.
