Sealed bids are requested for LUS 2026 Composite Pole Stock Material. Bids may be submitted electronically or at the office of the Purchasing Division at 705 West University Avenue, Lafayette, Louisiana. Bids submitted after the specified deadline will not be considered. Bidders may attend the bid opening in person or join virtually. Official Bid Documents are available on Vendor Access, and bidders may request the electronic bid package. Vendors submitting bids electronically must provide the same documents as those submitting by mail. Only a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check is accepted as bid security, and electronic bids must include copies of the front and back of the check or bid bond. Bids must be signed as required by law, with a Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the signatory submitted with the bid. Failure to include this will result in rejection. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid plus alternates. Bid bonds must be from an approved surety or a qualified Louisiana insurance company. The bid bond guarantees the bidder will execute the contract if awarded. Bidders cannot withdraw bids for at least 45 days after opening. Bids must be on the quotation form provided. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible and responsive offer. The Lafayette Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) is strongly encouraged in all contracts, and assistance in identifying DBEs is available.
