Sealed bids will be received for Contract No. 10-2026 for cleaning, painting, and repair according to the specifications for tank maintenance of the 1.25 MG finished water tank and two 250,000 gallon chlorine detention tanks located at 235 Woodside Drive, State College, PA. Each bid must include a Certified or Bank Check or Bid Bond made payable to the State College Borough Water Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid as security for proper execution of the Agreement and submission of required documents. The successful bidder must execute the Agreement and provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required. All bonds must be from sureties listed as acceptable by the U.S. Treasury Department and acceptable to the Authority. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the specific contract. The Water Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any defects or irregularities, and to accept any bid in its best interest. Bids must remain open for 60 days.
