The project consists of Shut-Off Valve Replacement Work to be completed under one prime contract. Bids must be submitted with a Bid Security of at least ten percent of the Total Base Bid, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and any additional supplements indicated in the contracting documents. The successful bidder is required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. All bidders must be registered on the A+E Group's Bidders List by obtaining the contracting documents from A+E Group. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form without any alterations. Bidders are directed to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and the payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Non Technical Specifications. All contractors and subcontractors are required to adhere to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended. The Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening without the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton.
