The project involves the Shut-Off Valve Replacement Work under one prime contract for the Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton's 2024 Capital Fund Program. Bids must be submitted using the provided Bid Form without any alterations, and bidders must be registered on the A+E Group's Bidders List by obtaining Contracting Documents from A+E Group. Bid submissions must include a Bid Security not less than ten percent of the Total Base Bid, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and additional supplements as indicated in the Contracting Documents. The successful bidder must also furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. Adherence to Equal Employment Opportunity provisions and payment of at least the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Non-Technical Specifications is mandatory, with compliance to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended. The Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening without consent from the Authority. Additional bidding requirements are detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.
