qualified Bidders (each, a "Bidder") for the furnishing of Bus Maintenance Facility Sheet Metal Repair equipment, materials, supplies and/or related services (the "Services") for the City of Modesto, Public Works Department, Building Services Division. The building was struck in two separate locations causing damage to approximately (12) 24 gauge metal panels. The Fleet Services Building known as the "Heavy Bay Shop" located at the Bus Maintenance Facility at 1609 8th St Modesto, Ca 95354 has incurred damage to both the NE side and the SW side of the building. The building was struck in both locations damaging the sheet metal siding. It is estimated that 12 panels in total have been damaged and will require replacement. The 24 gauge metal siding is attached from the inside and will require the contractor to remove the interior dry wall and insulation to make the required repairs. Upon completion of the repair the insulation, dry wall and paint must be returned to original condition. Exterior - Approximately 24 gauge metal panels. Panel design must match the existing and the color must be as close to original as possible. Interior - Dry wall to be smooth finish and painted to match the interior of the building. Insulation to be reinstalled to the original condition. The contractor will be responsible for any removal and reinstallation of any electrical and/or data needing to be moved to make the repairs. It will be the sole responsibility of the contractor to provide all labor, material and equipment needed to complete this project. Repairs should not interfere with daily operations of the fleet services division. The building's exterior must be sealed for security at the conclusion of each work day.
