Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Woodmere, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.
Small Business Enterprises (SBE's) are encouraged to participate on this project. The goal for SBE participation is 35% of total contract award for this project. Chagrin Valley Engineering 22999 Forbes Rd, Suite B., Oakwood OH 44146 440-399-0816 (phone) hren@cvelimited.com (e-mail) The work associated with the Woodmere Amphitheater project consists of the construction of a new amphitheater structure on the Florida Avenue (paper street) right of way along the frontage of Chagrin Boulevard. Component work includes concrete and masonry foundation, concrete pad and steps, powder coated aluminum tubing structural elements, translucent HDPE roof panels and site electrical supply and lighting of structure. The work also includes site grading, drainage, sidewalk, and restoration. Sealed bids are requested for the Woodmere Amphitheater Project. Bid documents, specifications, and drawings can be examined online or purchased for registration. All bids must be submitted on the provided Proposal Form and include a bank or cashier's check or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount as a guarantee. The bidder must agree to furnish a Surety Bond equal to 100% of the total bid upon contract award. Bids must conform to State of Ohio regulations regarding labor, wage rates, and hours of employment. Proposals must include the full names of all parties involved and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project is partially funded by the Cuyahoga County Department of Development's Block Grant Program, and bidders are required to comply with Department of Labor goals for affirmative action and equal opportunity. Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate, with a goal of 35% SBE participation. Bids must be marked for the "Woodmere Amphitheater Project." The Village of Woodmere reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities as deemed in its best interest.
