Jordan School District is inviting qualified contractors to submit bids for the replacement of the roof at Riverton Elementary School in Riverton, Utah. The project consists of removal of the existing roof membrane and partial removal of insulation below, and replacement with new single-ply membrane in areas indicated on drawings. The awarded contractor will be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications and requirements of the bid documents. Replacement of existing roof at Riverton Elementary School for the Jordan School District: 1. Base Bid Scope: Full tear-off of existing 4 ply built-up roof including ballast, membrane, insulation board, cant strips, flashing, boots, collars, termination bars, counterflashing, etc. All embedded and surface-mounted reglets to remain. Reapply sealant as required for a watertight installation. 2. Refer to section 01 2300 "Alternates" for potential modifications to the Base Bid Scope. A. Piping diagrams are schematic and indicate preferred pipe routing. It is the intent that the installation be complete. Where fixtures are not shown connected to any required services, they shall be connected properly and completely. B.
