The Board of Education, Ramsey Community Unit School District No. 204, is seeking bids for the replacement of existing water lines at Ramsey Grade School. Drawings and specifications may be obtained by contacting WRF Engineers, 112 North Kansas St., Edwardsville, Illinois 62025, (618) 659-8709, or by emailing WRF Engineers at mark@wrfeng.com. Sealed bids must be delivered to the District Office, 702 W. 6th St., Ramsey, IL 62080. All bids must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the respective project title. Bids received after the stated date and time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. The sealed bids will be publicly opened immediately after the submission deadline. Contractors shall pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). All contractor's bonds shall include a provision that will guarantee the faithful performance of such prevailing wage clause as provided by the bid specification. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
