Site work for a mixed-use development in Glencoe, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

This project will be constructed under three separate bid packages, Base Bid #1: Park District Improvements, Base Bid #2: School District Improvements, and Base Bid #3: On-Street Parking Improvements. The work in all three bid packages will be constructed simultaneously with the intent of awarding a single contract to the lowest, most responsible and responsive Bidder. Base Bid #1: Park District Improvements Work will include site preparation, construction fencing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control, site removals and clearing, earthwork, storm sewer, underdrains, drinking fountain installation, cast-in-place concrete curbs and footings, concrete paving, asphalt paving, crushed stone paving, sport court surfacing and striping for pickleball courts, pickleball posts and net installation, artificial turf installation for ballfield infield, chain link fencing and gates, backstops, dugout structure installation, picnic shelter installation, bocce court, shuffleboard court, site furnishings, native plantings, turf grass seeding, and landscaping plantings. Base Bid #2: School District Improvements Work will include site preparation, construction fencing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control, site removals and clearing, earthwork, underdrains, cast-inplace concrete curbs and footings, concrete paving, asphalt paving, crushed stone paving, sport court surfacing and striping for tennis courts, tennis posts and net installation, chain link fencing and gates, turf grass seeding, and sod installation at detention basin. Bidders must inspect the site, are responsible for all measurements, and must comply with all relevant laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, and enactments applicable to the work. Bids must be submitted using the provided proposal form in a sealed envelope marked as instructed. The successful bidder must pay prevailing wages, utilize equal opportunity hiring practices, and regularly check for updates to wage rates. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to accept bids deemed to be in the best interests of the Park District.
