Remodeling of an educational facility in Oakland, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 270,395-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and 267,950-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

New work generally consist of the Interior Renovation of the Family and Consumer Science Classrooms at Ramapo High School and Indian Hills High School and HVAC upgrades. Sealed bids will be received for the contract covering the alteration of Family & Consumer Science Classrooms at Ramapo High School and Indian Hills High School. The contract includes all of the work (single prime). Bidders must submit one original and one copy of their bid, using the provided Forms of Proposal. Bids must be accompanied by bid security and a Certificate of Consent of Surety from a Surety company, stating that if successful, a performance/payment bond will be provided. Bidders must be prequalified in Categories C008 or C009 as the prime with specified subs. Compliance with New Jersey statutes regarding employment, minimum wage, discrimination, affirmative action, political contribution disclosure, business registration, and Public Works Contractor Registration is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informality as deemed in the owner's best interest, and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is most advantageous to the public interest. Pre-bid conference attendance is strongly recommended. Bid documents must be procured through the architect's website, with specific fees for paper or electronic copies. All technical questions must be submitted through the designated portal by the set deadline. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening.
