Renovation of an educational facility in Oakland, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 700-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

The scope of this project includes the complete renovation of the Men's and Women's Faculty Restrooms and the Boy's and Girl's Student Restrooms on the first floor of Manito Elementary School. The restrooms will be fully renovated to include new finishes on the walls, floors, and ceilings, along with new doors, lighting, fixtures, partitions, and accessories. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids will be received for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories: (C008) General Construction or (C009) General Construction/Alterations/Additions. Bidders shall also either be prequalified for, or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for, the following classifications: (C030) Plumbing, (C032) HVACR, (C047) Electrical. Bidders and subcontractors for each major branch of work specified must be prequalified by the DPMC. No modifications to the enclosed Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions or Specifications will be permitted prior to bid acceptance except as may be allowed by addenda. Bids that propose modifications to the requirements shall result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. Bidders are required to comply with all relevant statutory requirements, submit proper documentation and certifications, and fulfill specified bonding and security provisions.
