Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oakland, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes the 2026 Road Resurfacing Program consisting of the milling and paving of several roads and walking paths in the Borough, as well as reconstruction of curbs, ADA curb ramp improvements, ancillary drainage improvements, resetting of existing castings, and improvements to stripping and pavement markings. Certain locations also include drainage improvements. There are alternate bids for additional roads. Principal items of work are specified for each base and alternate bid, including quantities for HMA milling and hot mix asphalt surface course. The work must be completed within 90 calendar days of notice to proceed. Bids must be submitted on prescribed forms with the required affidavits and ownership statements, accompanied by a consent of surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of at least ten percent of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000). The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent performance and payment bond and provide required insurance. Bidders must include, if applicable, a certificate of authority for corporations not chartered in New Jersey, comply with equal employment opportunity requirements, and disclose partners or stockholders for corporations and partnerships. Each bid must be sealed and labeled accordingly. The successful bidder must comply with prevailing wage provisions. All bids are irrevocable for sixty days unless otherwise permitted by law. The owner reserves the right to reject bids or waive informalities. The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within 90 calendar days of notice to proceed.
