Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to Ramapo Indian Hills Regional HS District, Attention: Mr. Matthew Bouldin with the name of the project, "CONTRACT #128 - DELTA PROGRAM SPACE HVAC UPGRADES INDIAN HILLS HIGH SCHOOL" plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not more than $20,000. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. While it is encouraged that the Bidder include, whenever possible, with its bid its own Certificate and that of all subcontractors, same shall be provided to the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional HS District prior to the contract award. All bidders and subcontractors must have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. All Contractors who bid on this School Facilities Project shall provide a copy of the business registration certification prior to the award of the contract. The Contractor must obtain proof of valid business registration from a Subcontractor before entering a Contract and shall forward said business registrations to the District, provide written notice to all Subcontractors that they are required to submit a copy of their business registration certificate, and maintain and submit to the District a list of the names of any Subcontractors and their current addresses, updated as necessary during the course of the Contract performance. Bidders are required to comply with "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action requirements. In order to be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder and/or its subcontractor(s) shall be classified by NJDPMC in the discipline C032 HVACR. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids.
