Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Silverdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids will be received electronically for Barringer Avenue improvements, including but not limited to, sidewalk, curb, ADA ramps, driveway aprons, storm sewer, cartway repair, signs, and pavement markings. Bids must be submitted on forms provided and accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, contractor qualification form, bidder information form, Public Works Employment Verification Form (E-verify program), and a certified check or bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid price. The contract is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. The successful bidder must provide and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, and a maintenance bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price. Insurance coverage per the bid specifications must be maintained throughout the construction and maintenance period. Award will be based on the Total Base Bid to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, though all bids may be rejected or informalities waived. Equal opportunity employment is required and discrimination is prohibited. Question Deadline 03/04/2026 No interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents will be made to any prospective bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation must be submitted online and, to be given consideration, must be received at least 24 hours prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids.
