The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. Mill and overlay of the existing asphalt on East Walnut Street and installation of 1 1/2 " of 9.5mm WMA bituminous wearing course. Install three (3) ADA curb ramps on East Walnut Street and one (1) on East Church Street. Pavement markings to include a double yellow along the full length of East Walnut Street and a crosswalk on East Walnut Street. Sweeping, installing utility risers, and joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes are incidental to the project. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Sellersville. The successful Bidder must furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract Price with approved corporate surety. Prevailing minimum wage rates as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid to workmen employed on this project. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants are not discriminated against because of race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over those included in the contract.
