The Warsaw R-IX School District, Warsaw, Missouri, is seeking sealed bids for a roofing project at its North Elementary School. The Warsaw R-IX School District is preparing to replace roof on the eastern wing of Warsaw North Elementary, located at 134 West Kosciusko Street, Warsaw, Missouri. These sections amount to approximately 36,500 square feet. This section is depicted in Attachment B to this RFB. Questions relating to this project may be addressed to: Mr. Scott Gemes Superintendent Warsaw R-IX School District 20363 Lane of Champions Warsaw, Missouri 65355 (660) 438-7120 Bidders must submit one copy of their bid, in a sealed envelope marked "Roof Project - Warsaw North Elementary School." An authorized officer of the company must sign all submissions. All prices and notations must be in ink or typewritten; mistakes must be crossed out, corrections typed adjacent, and initialed in ink by the person signing the Request for Bids. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities, and to negotiate any particulars in the proposals received. Collusion between applicants is sufficient cause to disqualify all involved. The District may consider skill, facilities, capacity, experience, previous work record, financial standing, and necessity of prompt and efficient completion when determining responsibility and awarding a contract. Bidders must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program, stating that the bidder does not knowingly employ any person not authorized to work in the U.S., provide a performance bond, comply with Prevailing Wage laws and OSHA requirements, including an approved 10-hour safety course. Inability to meet these requirements may be cause for rejection. The District will not award the project to any party with outstanding amounts due from prior contracts or relationships or those owing delinquent taxes, fees, or licenses.
