The project location is various roads in unincorporated Santa Cruz County. The work includes pavement grinding, digouts, full depth recycling (cement), asphalt concrete leveling courses and overlays, rubberized cape seals, rubber chip SAMIs (stress absorbing membrane interlayers), microsurfacing seals, striping, pavement markings, and raising iron. The work must be completed within 75 working days. The Contractor must have a Class A or Class C-12 license and be duly licensed and skilled in the type of work called for under this contract. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Prevailing wages are required. Only electronic proposals will be accepted. Bidders must create a free account via the online procurement portal, follow the instructions to submit an electronic bid, and upload proposal forms. A cashier's or certified check of not less than ten percent of the bid, signed by the bidder and a corporate surety, must be received prior to bid opening.
