This contract provides for the installation of approximately 800 linear feet of 2-inch and 4-inch diameter sanitary sewer force main, looping three existing sewer force mains and connecting them to an existing sewer manhole and existing force main, and street reconstruction on Chatham Dr. and adjoining streets. Work includes pavement removal, trench work, connections to existing sewer force mains, sewer valves, connections to existing sewer manholes, trench restoration, paving, adjustment of utility appurtenances, striping, and other related work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check for five percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond for five percent of the amount of the proposal executed on the approved form. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities. Plans, Specifications, and Addenda for this project are available through the online plan room.
