Renovation of an educational facility in Lacey, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Complete replacement of existing boilers, air-cooled chiller, and associated pumps at Chinook Middle School. Work includes concrete, roof patching, hydronic piping, gas piping, test and balancing, DDC controls, and electrical. Bidders must submit a sealed bid, provide a list of Structural Steel and Rebar Subcontractors, and ensure all documents are delivered in opaque, sealed envelopes. Bids submitted after the deadline may not be considered. Emailed submissions are not accepted. A certified check, cashier's check, or surety company bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Base Bid must accompany each bid. No workman, laborer, or mechanic employed in performance of the contract shall be paid less than the prevailing rate of wage as determined by the Dept. of Labor and Industries. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and accept bids deemed in the best interests of the Owner. The right to postpone contract award for forty-five days after bid opening is reserved. Bids may not be withdrawn after the designated bid opening time, unless award is delayed more than forty-five days. Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
