Site work for a mixed-use development in Amsterdam, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

This work is to be bid under a MULTIPLE CONTRACT system covering the work of all trades under separate contracts as follows: Contract No. 5 - Site Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the "INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS". Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 business days after the date of the opening of bids. The Owner further reserves its right to disqualify bidders for any material failure to comply with the Information for Bidders and General Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects in such bid either before or after opening. Doc Notes: Bidders wishing documents mailed to them shall include, in addition to the document deposit, a non-refundable check of $15.00 per set for handling and postage or a UPS/FedEx account number. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF BCA Architects & Engineers AND PRINTED MUST BE RETURNED IN GOOD CONDITION WITHIN THIRTY (30) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER AWARD OF CONTRACT OR REJECTION OF BIDS. The plan deposit for one set of Plans and Specifications will be refunded to bona fide bidders returning Plans and Specifications to BCA Architects & Engineers within 30 business days after award of Contract or rejection of bids. A partial refund of the plan deposit, in an amount equal to the full amount of such deposit, less the actual cost of reproduction of the Plans and Specifications shall be made to non-bidders and unsuccessful bidders for the return of all other copies of the Plans and Specifications in good condition within 30 business days following the award of the Contract or the rejection of the bids. Phase 2B involving the following campus locations: 1. Amsterdam High School, 140 Saratoga Avenue, Amsterdam NY 12010 SED Control No. 27-01-00-01-0-026-022 2. Wilbur H. Lynch Literacy Academy / Middle School, 55 Brandt Place, Amsterdam NY 12010 SED Control No. 27-01-00-01-0-028-031 3. R.J. McNulty Academy / Elementary School, 60 Brandt Place, Amsterdam NY 12010 SED Control No. 27-01-00-01-0-002-016 4. Lynch Literacy Academy / Middle School Annex, Bunn Street, Amsterdam NY 12010 SED Control No. 27-01-00-01-0-028-031 All removal and disposal of existing building, assemblies and components as scheduled or required for execution of the work. Procurement and general requirements; temporary facilities and controls; temporary project signage; cutting and patching; site restoration (related to GC Work); asbestos abatement; lead hazard control activities; minor demolition for remodeling; concrete (repair, forming & accessories, reinforcing, cast-in place concrete, & cast underlayment); masonry; metals (structural steel, decking, cold-formed metal framing, metal fabrications, pipe & tube railings); rough & finish carpentry; solid surface fabrications; thermal and moisture protection (existing membrane & spray foam roofing system modifications, fire & smoke assembly identification, insulation, vapor barriers, firestopping, & joint sealers); openings (hollow metal frames, doors, storefronts, windows, insulated window panels, door hardware, & glazing); finishes (plaster, gypsum board, wall panels, polyurethane sports flooring, tiling, ceilings, resilient flooring, wood flooring, carpeting, acoustical components; paintings & coatings, concrete & masonry coatings); specialties (visual displays, signage, toilet compartments, cubicle curtains & track, protective walls coverings, toilet room accessories, fire protection & lockers); furnishings (blinds, roller shades, plastic laminate casework, & bleachers); pool lining; and all other general construction work & related materials as indicated on the Contract Drawings, as described in the Contract Specifications, and as needed for a complete and proper project. All access doors, mechanical roof curbs, equipment rails, pipe vaults, metal shelving cabinets (including related countertops, grilles & filler sections), grilles & louvers related to mechanical equipment to be furnished by the Mechanical Contractor & installed by the General Contractor. Question Deadline Feb 20, 2026 No interpretations of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. All requests for such interpretations shall submitted in writing to BCA Architects & Engineers.
