Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Amsterdam, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Project includes the following Work: Demolition and removal of structures to 2ft below grade at the addresses indicated on the bid form. Up to twenty-three (23) structures will be demolished at the discretion of the City. At all sites the sewer shall be plugged, the site regraded and restored using a native meadow mix. The buildings will be demolished per NYSDOL ICR-56 11.5 Controlled Demolition with Asbestos in Place. A NYSDOL City wide variance is in place. The structures included in the project have been deemed Unsafe to Enter by City of Amsterdam Fire Department. The City strongly encourages Minority and Women Owned Businesses (WBE and MBE) to bid. The City also strongly encourages Section 3 businesses to bid this project. Contract term: 1 Year CR Number: 2128249 A pre-bid conference for the Project is not scheduled. Minority and Women Business Enterprise project participation goals: A total of 30% participation is required for the work of the contract. The prospective bidder should be prepared to state their plan to achieve these goals. If a bidder is M or WBE certified in New York State, it should be stated in the Form of the Bid with the certification number provided by New York State.
