Work performed under this bid proposal must include all, labor & machinery needed to provide Montgomery County with a new paved parking lot. When requested by the Commissioner of Public Works, the bidder must present evidence of experience, ability, and financial standing. Sawcut existing asphalt and install rebates to tie in new asphalt Provide & Place 5" to 6" of new course crusher run base to bring area to grade Fine grade new parking area (approximately 34,600 sq ft.) to receive new asphalt Provide paver, roller(s), dump trucks, and labor Parking lot area to consist of approximately 380 tons of 2 1/2 " type 3 binder course Parking lot area to consist of approximately 230 tons of 1 1/2 " type 6 top course All material to be compacted with breakdown & finish rollers Montgomery County to provide type 3 binder & 6F top course material from Public Works 2025 material bid awards. The Commissioner will arrange scheduling with selected plant at time of construction. Contractor to be responsible for trucking Davis Bacon Act: The bidder is informed that they are required to follow the Federal Davis Bacon Act, which requires bidders to pay prevailing wage rate and fringe benefits established by the New York State Department of Labor at the time the work is completed. The bidder will be required to submit a certified payroll indicating prevailing wage has been paid before any payment will be released by Montgomery County.
