Sealed proposals are requested from qualified Contractors for the Skylight Replacement Project at Melbourne Orlando International Airport, Melbourne, Florida. The project requires bidders to have visited the site prior to bidding or arrange a site visit within a specified period. Only written questions received by a specified deadline will be answered. A Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of the total bid must be submitted, and a Public Construction Bond equal to 100% of the awarded contract is required before contract execution. The project is federally funded and Davis-Bacon rates apply. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid receipt deadline. The successful bidder must provide, upon request, evidence of financial responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
