Questions must be submitted in writing to pwadden@vail.gov no later than 4 p.m. local time Feb. 16, 2026. The successful firm shall hold pricing for the term of the contract. The Town of Vail reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all proposals on any basis without disclosing the reason. It is anticipated that up to 80 hours of work will be required for each round of maintenance. Specific dates to be established with the selected firm following award of contract. The Town of Vail Public Works Department is seeking proposals from contractors for two rounds of general maintenance and cleaning of 277 storm water inlet capture devices (Frog Creek Gutter Bins) to occur once in May 2026 and once in October 2026. All inlet capture devices can be serviced with a vacuum truck, pressure washer and large buckets, bins or similar containers. Respondents are asked to submit a proposal containing their qualifications, staff and equipment availability and hourly rates for labor and equipment. All materials removed from Gutter Bins can be disposed of at the Town of Vail Public Works Department's snow dump at a location approved by the Streets Department. Water is also available at the Vail Public Works site. Proposals will be reviewed and used to establish a qualified vendors list.
