Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Vail, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of May 29, 2026, the project was awarded to Heyl Construction but the awarded amount is not available. The work to be performed generally includes improvement of an existing 2.23 million gallon per day (MGD) siphon, consisting of two 8-inch lines and associated upstream and downstream flow structures. The work includes installation of a new precast flow structure, installation of UV cured liners, and miscellaneous improvements to the existing manholes and sewers. Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a cashier's check or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the instructions. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened. Bids will be considered only from Bidders who have attended the Prebid Conference. Bids from Bidders not indicated in the Engineer's records to have been in attendance at the Prebid Conference will be returned unopened.
