The purpose is to establish a firm fixed price term contract for lawn maintenance service at the common areas of each Housing Authority location listed, including offices, playgrounds and community property areas, as well as an individual price for residence areas at Terra Vista for occasional one-time service if needed. All bid pricing must include material costs and weed/insect control. Contractor must field verify all existing conditions and may submit RFIs or clarification requests in writing at least seven days prior to bid date. Bidders may bid on any or all listed sites. Separate contracts will be awarded per site. Contractor is to supply labor, equipment, and materials to provide weekly landscape maintenance service, including mowing, edging, removing grass trimmings, maintaining flower beds, trimming low hanging branches to a minimum 6' height, trimming bushes and shrubs as needed, controlling weeds in all areas, applying fertilizer every ninety days, blowing off hard surfaces, planting winter rye, and advising of any damage to the sprinkler system--with contractor responsible for repairs if the damage is caused by them. The period of this contract shall begin April 1, 2026, and be in effect for a period of two (2) years with the option to extend for another two (2) year period. The contract will continue in effect on a month-to-month basis, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the provisions of this agreement. Either party may terminate this agreement for any reason upon 30 day written notice.
