The College of DuPage is accepting sealed bids for Concrete Form work at the College Of DuPage Westmont Center Campus. Bid documents may be downloaded from the Procurement Website by clicking on the link for this bid and following the instructions. Bids are due to the College of DuPage Procurement Services, Institutional Resource Center (IRC) Building, Room 1001, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, up to and no later than the specified date and time, at which point they will be publicly opened. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled via Zoom and a Site Visit at the College; both are not mandatory but highly recommended. A Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the amount of fifteen percent (15%) of the total base bid is required. Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this project. Qualified Minority, Women, and Persons with Disabilities Owned Businesses are highly encouraged to participate. The College of DuPage Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all responses. Generally, this work includes asphalt removal and installation of a stone drainage swale and underdrain tied to existing drain to aid in water retention and removal from the parking lot. Installation of new concrete curbs and adding height to current curbs on site. Additional areas of asphalt will be removed to improve the height of the slope of the parking lot in several locations. B. This project also includes the furnish and installation of fencing in the east side of the parking lot and an alternate bid for additional pavement work on the drive east of the property. C. The drawings and specifications (included in the bid package as Exhibits) define the scope of work, along with the items below. D. Contractor should assume that the work under this bid package will need to be coordinated with the College before work begins to avoid disrupting certain activities that may take place during the implementation of the work. E. The work shown is at the COD Westmont Regional Center Campus, and most of the area will be available for work most days. The College will work with the awarded firm to set up a generally continuous operation for the contractor, however that is not guaranteed. The contractor will meet with the College staff to gain logistic information toward for the initial work schedule produced by the contractor and if acceptable, gain approval by the College. F.
