Site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Wheeling, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a swimming pool.
Bids will be received for Bid Packages No. 13.15 – Swimming Pool and 13.25 – Water Park Slides & Features at 105 Blvd. in Wheeling, Illinois. Bids must be submitted electronically to the Construction Manager, Camosy Construction, using the provided Bid Form and acknowledging all addendums or clarifications. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery; late bids will not be accepted. Bid documents, including plans and specifications, are available electronically from Camosy Construction at no cost, and any printing costs are the responsibility of the bidder. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check for at least ten percent of the total base bid is required. The successful bidder must furnish satisfactory performance and labor & material payment bonds and enter into a legal contract with the Owner. All bid prices must remain firm for sixty days after bid opening. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates, and bidders must certify compliance with bid-rigging, bid rotation, equal opportunity employment, and sexual harassment laws. No bids may be withdrawn without written Owner consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bids and waive any formalities in the bidding process. Minority and Women-Owned Businesses (M/WBE) are encouraged to submit bids and to be utilized as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
