Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Wheeling, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.
Bids are requested for water park slides and features at 105 Blvd. in Wheeling, Illinois under Bid Package No. 13.25. Bids must be signed and submitted electronically through Pre-Con Suite to the Construction Manager, Camosy Construction, by the specified deadline. Contractors must use the provided Bid Form and acknowledge all addenda or clarifications. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery of their submissions. Electronic plans and specifications are available at no cost, but any printing costs are the contractor's responsibility. Each bid requires a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check for at least ten percent of the total base bid. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory performance and payment bonds for the total contract amount and enter into a legal contract with the Owner. Bid prices must remain firm for sixty days. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates and compliance with laws on bid-rigging, bid rotation, equal opportunity employment, and sexual harassment. Bids cannot be withdrawn without written consent from the Owner, who reserves the right to reject any bids and waive formalities. Minority and Women-Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid and be utilized as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
