Renovation of an educational facility in Wheeling, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are being solicited for 2026 Summer Work. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Administration Center at 959 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois. A Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the contract is required, along with a Bid Security of 10% of the bid. All work must comply with Illinois Prevailing Wage Rates. Bids must be submitted before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to Glen Michelini, Director of Operations, 959 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois. Two copies of the AIA 305-Contractors Qualification statement must be submitted to Nicholas & Associates, Inc., 1001 Feehanville Drive, Mount Prospect, Illinois 60056, before the bid date. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders at the Administration Center. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, waive any irregularities or informalities, and make the award in the best interest of the District. Bidders must have a written sexual harassment policy in compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Bidding documents will be distributed electronically at no charge on or after January 27th, 2026.
