Reference Number 0000436504 Purchase Type Duration: 5 years The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, with qualified firm(s) for the repair and maintenance of various types of electric motors and pumps, on an as needed basis, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). The services to be provided include, but are not exclusive to, the rewinding of stators and rotors, replacements of bearings and seals, complete motor repair, rewinding of transformers, machining, pump rebuilds/overhauls, thermal imaging, vibration analysis, crane service, and additional field services, as required by the Public Works Department. On April 21, 2021, the City Commission approved the award of a contract pursuant to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2021-032-AY for electric motor rewind pump repairs and maintenance with a three (3) year original term and two (2) additional one (1) year optional renewals. The contract has exhausted all renewal options, and this ITB is intended to replace the contract. To consider a replacement contract, the City is seeking bids from qualified contractor(s) to provide repair and maintenance of various types of electric motors and pumps. The requirements and specifications are further detailed herein and more specifically in Appendix B. The estimated budget for these services is approximately $184,000.
