The project consists of constructing a 12-inch water main on Bridge Street, 8-inch water mains on Tilden Ave and Cochran Road, and all associated work and appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime contract, and bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must furnish bid security according to the instructions, comply with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, and provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Additional requirements include compliance with American Iron and Steel provisions, Build America Buy America provisions, and federal wage rates as determined by the Davis-Bacon Act. Prospective bidders may obtain or examine bidding documents from the Issuing Office. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required. Question Deadline 03/11/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents.
