Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Brighton, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Award: North Valley, Inc., in the amount of $322,501.62 Bituminous street and parking lot mill and overlay which includes approximately: 28,000 SY Mill Bituminous Surface (1.5"), 2,650 Ton Bituminous Wearing Course, 2,300 LF Pavement Marking, 5 EA Loop Detector Installation, 1 LS Traffic Control plus miscellaneous and incidental work, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. A bid shall be submitted online; the City will only be accepting online electronic bids through QuestCDN. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holder list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, a Responsible Contractor Certificate, and an Equal Employment Opportunity Certification. A certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of New Brighton in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany the bid as a guarantee. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be served.
